Don’t have too many clothes.
Too many clothes causes stress. More to wash, more to sort, more to match, more for kids to stash under the beds, more for them to throw into the hamper because it’s easier than putting away, more to swap out for the season, more to store. Most children just wear what is at the top of the drawers anyway. A week’s worth of everyday clothes, and a couple “good” outfits, are plenty for most kiddos. Have an extra’s week’s worth of underwear so if you can’t get to the laundry for some reason you can get by. But having fewer clothes really does force you to stay on top of the laundry.
